THE BROOM IS SWEEPING CLEAN
For many years, I have been telling anyone that would listen, that I get everything I pray for.
It doesn’t generally come the way that I want it, but it certainly comes the way I need it. Sometimes the packaging is easy to unwrap and see the contents. Mostly though, the gift is obscure on first and sometimes even second glance. I have to go back to what was my original request to see the gift more clearly and appreciate the opportunity for change that has come.
So too, I see this difficult period as an opportunity for everything I have asked for. So I apologise to those who understand me when I say, I am sorry for my part in creating this but another part of me is feeling so joyful.
We have been putting bandaids on failing systems for a long time.
I have seen first hand just how badly corrupted our aged care systems have become. With companies, and churches, developing a business model of how to make more money, less taxes, gouge a heap of money from the Government every day and make huge profits while giving less and less to those they are supposed to be assisted and valued.
The banking systems have forgotten why they were created in the first place. For their customers. Now they gouge money in fees, turn their backs on those who actually need financial advise and assistance, give money freely to rich people or those who want to make more money, produce obscene profits for shareholders while at the same time close offices and services to those who are hopeful of getting some service and help.
Everything now is insured. This is the one of the greatest institutions based only on fear that I know of. And I don’t know about you, but three times I have been screwed over by insurance when I had true claims. Now I don’t have any insurance except what is needed by law to drive my car. If I lose something, it is just stuff and I will rise again from the ashes. As I have in the past. Perhaps having lost everything and found that I am still here has taught me more about life than anything else. Insurers are parasites, as are shares.
Think about it. The workers at the bottom of the rung put their blood, sweat and tears into working hard for their bosses. Who live well off the energy of those underlings. Others, who sit behind their desks in ivory towers, buy shares. The more profits made by the company the higher their shares, the more they “have”. But unfortunately, this is at the cost of the workers, who work harder and harder, as good staff leave or are sacked, and already stressed workers have more duties for the same salary. The product becomes inferior. It is all explained in my book “When the Student is Ready”. I have seen how this works by being in companies exactly like this. The funeral industry is a prime example. But don’t get me started.
Healthcare. Well, we won’t go there either. Oh and politics? Well, I did think of going on that path to change it from its corruption and greed. But they seem to be showing themselves for what they are without any help from me. There is a big difference between political power and powerful leadership. We have confused the two and it needs to change.
I want to go now into what I have created from my experiences of what I DON’T want.
Right now, as everything we know collapses around us, the broom is sweeping clean. Everything HAS to crumble to be rebuilt. When I was “running for Senate” (until the passion died), my motto was “We know better. time to do better.”
IMAGINE
I believe that if everyone followed their passion, there would always be someone who did something that would benefit a community. A community would share everything it has with everyone because everyone is giving something back. Elderly still have roles too as storytellers, advisors, loving beings, baby sitters. Someone in the community would love to clean. Someone else would love to grow things. Some one else would love to make clothes. Some else would love to cook. Someone would love to build things. Someone would love to teach. Someone would love to heal. Get my drift? If we all do exactly what we love, everything we need as a community would actually be provided by and to the community members.
That vision has been what I have been wanting and my heart has longed for. Soooooo maybe it is coming into being.
Sounds tribal? Yep. I have been a healer and teacher of natural therapies for a long time. I would love to assist others. I have always thought I would do it for nothing if I knew I had a roof over my head and food to eat each day. My needs are few.
I give thanks that I am now a pensioner and a lot of the worries and stresses reaching into the hearts and homes of so many are not part of my reality. I have the ability to donate to charities of worth and help people who need it. My heart bleeds for so many. However, I do give thanks for my position at the moment and take the stance of Mother Theresa who knew she couldn’t heal the world, but she could help one person at a time where she was.
I am heartened to hear of so many communities being built from the ashes of our failing system. Stay strong. Find your vision. What do you want on earth at this time?
Now is definitely the time to imagine it. Because as I have said for more than 20 years and which seems to finally be happening:-
